DESCRIPTION:¡Viva el Arte de Santa Barbara!’s Las Cafeteras performances canceled in accordance with the California Department of Public Health’s updated policy on gatherings \nWe have been carefully following the rapidly-changing news about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Late last night\, Governor Gavin Newsom announced that California public health officials issued an updated policy on large gatherings to protect public health and slow the spread of COVID-19. The state’s public health experts have determined that large gatherings should be postponed or canceled across the state at this time. In light of this development\, we have canceled the upcoming ¡Viva el Arte de Santa Bárbara! performances by Las Cafeteras on Fri.\, March 13 at 7 p.m. at Isla Vista School\, Sat.\, March 14 at 7 p.m. at Guadalupe City Hall and Sun.\, March 15 at 7 p.m. at The Marjorie Luke Theatre. \nWe make this decision with the safety and health of our community as our top priority.
